Step 2 of 5
The family member.
The relative you think may have owned land or minerals in Texas. Usually a parent, grandparent, great‑grandparent, aunt, or uncle.
Maiden name too, if you know it. Best guess is fine if you’re not sure.
A guess is fine. “Sometime in the 80s” is fine too.
A county, a town, or even an area. We work in Leon, Freestone, Anderson, and Robertson counties.
Step 3 of 5
Anything else?
Optional. The more we know going in, the better the title research.
Things like: other family members who might also be heirs;
prior leases or royalty checks you’ve heard about;
probate filings; family stories about “the land back
home.” Skip this if nothing comes to mind —
we’ll fill in the rest on the phone.
Step 4 of 5
Look right?
A quick check before we send it over. Use Back to fix anything.
By submitting, you’re asking us to research your potential
mineral ownership. Submitting isn’t a contract and
doesn’t obligate you to anything.
