The full Privacy Policy is being prepared and reviewed by counsel.
The summary below reflects how NechesLand handles information today;
the formal policy will appear here once finalized.
What we collect.
- Information you give us directly — name, contact information, and the family details you submit through our forms.
- Information we obtain from public records — deeds, probates, tax rolls, court filings — in the counties where we work.
- Information from licensed people‑search providers — current mailing addresses associated with the heirs of mineral interests we’ve identified in those public records.
- Standard web analytics on this site (page views, referrers, device type) for the purpose of operating and improving the site.
How we use it.
- To research mineral title and identify rightful heirs.
- To contact you about a possible oil and gas lease.
- To prepare and record curative title instruments (such as Affidavits of Heirship) when you ask us to.
- To operate our internal records and respond to inquiries.
What we don’t do.
- We don’t sell your information.
- We don’t share it with marketers or unrelated third parties.
- We don’t ask for Social Security Numbers, banking information, or payment from you.
Your choices.
You can ask us to delete your information from our records at any
time by emailing hello@nechesland.com.
Information that has already been filed in public county records
(such as a recorded affidavit) cannot be retracted from those
records, but our internal copies can be deleted.
